Puducherry, Mar 6 :
The first political conference of the All India N R Congrss, floated by former chief minister N Rangasamy, was held here this afternoon.
Even though the enforcement
of the Model Code of Conduct of Elections dampened the festive mood,
posters and banners erected with permission from authorities were seen
near the AFT Thidal, the venue of the conference.
A massive crowd attended the conference which was opened by Party Founder N Rangasamy by lighting the traditional lamp.
Former Minister M Chandragasu, who joined the party two days back, presided while Party General Secretary V Bhalan welcomed the gathering.
